Prima Assicurazioni, the insurance provider, has always strived to be innovative. Innovative for the idea from which it was founded: to change insurance for the better, using the power of people and technology. Innovative for its desire to create value for customers and put people at the heart of everything. That’s why the company looks for brand partners that not only share its values, but also allow Prima to reach more people in new ways. And so, they are proud to announce a new alliance with Red Bull.

Prima is one of the main players in the Italian motor insurance market, soon to celebrate ten years in the industry. It’s also the title sponsor of the 2023 MotoGP Team World Championship winners: Pramac Racing. With their shared passion for motorsports, Prima and Red Bull will together liven up two big events held in the final part of 2024.

The first is the Red Bull Grand Prix of San Marino and the Riviera di Rimini, happening in Misano from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th September. Red Bull is title sponsor of the contest, which attracted over 140,000 people in 2023. Thanks to Red Bull, it’s not just a sporting event, but an extraordinary marketing opportunity, offering exclusive entertainment experiences on and off the track. And this year, these experiences will also have the backing of Prima.

The second big event is still under wraps and will be revealed in the coming weeks.

"Our alliance with Red Bull is the first of many partnerships that will help us reach people in new ways and get them talking about our world,” says George Ottathycal, CEO of Prima. “The partnership will also allow us to further explore our MotoGP platform, that’s been helping Prima grow in Italy – and in the UK and Spain – since 2022.

“We’re hoping the events we’re planning in Misano will capture the attention of the public and the media,” continues George. “2025 should be a year of big news for Prima. We will share, with even greater intensity, who we are, our values and our vision. Our value proposition is dedicated to those who place their trust in us. We’re talking about our customers, as well as our followers, agents, partners and people, who believe in our mission to do things differently.”

Andrea Balestrino, Prima’s Country Manager for Italy, adds: “Our goal is to offer not only our customers, but also our internal people and agents, unique experiences that make them feel part of something special, beyond our insurance products and services. The Prima community is a place where things happen, where people are the centre of our ideas and our energy. We’ve got a lot planned for the near future, using different mediums to express our values and principles, hopefully offering people a fresh view of our brand.”

Many new activities are planned for the Misano weekend – not just for Prima customers, but also motorsport enthusiasts. The most obvious is the new hospitality area, "L'isola delle rose", created by Red Bull and Prima together. Located close to the circuit, it offers some of the best views of the track. The venue will host athletes, influencers and guests of the two brands throughout the race weekend.

In the run up to the Grand Prix, Prima will have its van driving along the Riviera. Those who spot and photograph it will have the chance to win tickets to the race. Also planned are two Red Bull Riders Nights, scheduled in Riccione and Rimini, featuring special Biketrail performances, with riders performing aerial stunts over the crowd.

In short, alongside Red Bull, Prima will light up the Riviera with passion, offering the general public the best of two different worlds.
