Prima Seguros, insurtech that acts as an insurance agency specialized in the automotive sector, appoints Peter Caron as the new director of the technology office. From this position he will work to strengthen its model based on technology and innovation to support the international expansion that Prima is carrying out in recent months, with a focus on the Spanish and UK markets.

Peter Caron will lead all the insurtech's technological development processes at a global level, directing the research and development center owned by Prima Seguros and its teams. Composed of engineers, developers and data scientists, Prima's team works on the continuous improvement of proprietary algorithms and software with the aim of redefining industry standards.

Caron has more than 25 years of experience in the industry, where he has created and led technology teams in more than a dozen companies, such as Oracle or HelloFresh, where he has faced multiple transformation challenges. In addition, he has built high-performance infrastructures going through the entire spectrum of developers, from talent acquisition and recruitment to performance and mentoring.

With this appointment, Prima Seguros, intends to continue driving the renewal of a historically traditional sector through the application of technology. In this regard, Peter Caron's mission will be to find answers to the new demands of a consumer who increasingly has more decision-making power and demands more complete and higher quality alternatives that meet their needs efficiently, quickly and without complications.
