We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to join our Pricing and Underwriting teams in the UK as Data Scientists. You will leverage data-driven insights and advanced analytics to identify gaps, improve operations, and contribute to our strategic goals. This role can be tailored as Junior or Senior, depending on your experience and skills.

Some of your activities will include::

Framing business problems in quantitative terms and autonomously designing practical solutions for them.

Building predictive models using advanced frameworks, while developing a deep understanding of their underlying theory to adapt them to our specific use cases.

Translating your ideas into actionable solutions using cutting-edge technology and modern best practices, in close collaboration with experienced Machine Learning and Data Engineers.

Are you the ideal candidate for this exciting role? Here's what we're looking for::

A strong academic background in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

Exceptional quantitative, logical, and analytical abilities, with a knack for solving complex problems.

A growth-oriented mindset, with a strong desire to learn quickly and develop expertise in Data Science and programming

(For senior candidates): A solid track record of achievement and demonstrable value generation in your previous work experience.

In addition to the core requirements, we will value the following as advantageous::

Proficiency in programming, particularly with Python, and experienced in data querying and analysis, particularly with SQL.

Familiarity with programming best practices, such as version control using Git and implementing unit tests.

Experience with machine learning algorithms and applying them in line with industry best practices.
