As part of the growth in Spain, we are looking for a new colleague to join Prima’s Compliance Area to work with our Global Team.

What will you do

The Compliance Manager cooperates with all business teams and functions and is responsible for advising, supporting the implementation, and monitoring the compliance of activities and processes against applicable regulations. In addition, this Manager will be involved in all the regulatory aspects pertaining the negotiation of contracts significant for Prima’s business in Spain.
In this role, you will report to the Global Chief Compliance Officer, working also closely with the Country Manager and the business functions and support the team in Spain in the management of insurance regulatory context, consumer protection activities and legal counsel. Specifically, you will:
· Continuously review, implement and maintain the company's internal control and risk management system, identifying the activities and processes exposed to compliance risks and reviewing internal regulations to manage these compliance risks and periodically monitoring their implementation.
· Monitor regulatory developments related to Prima's activity in Spain.
· Provide accurate and timely advice to all teams and business functions on all regulatory matters, being involved in all the projects and activities from which compliance risks may arise and in any case on a continuous basis in order to support the most effective and compliant deployment of  Prima’s operations; this includes, among the others, the ex-ante adoption of the necessary and appropriate safeguards to protect the consumers and to the development and adoption of plans or ad hoc actions aimed at ensuring the continuous and widespread correct management of compliance risks.
· Provide legal counsel, in all the projects and activities that the teams in Spain work, reviewing  and analyzing the documents, goals and necessities.
· Support the relevant business functions in the management of distribution processes and consumer relations.
· Supporting all data protection and privacy topics, to ensure that Prima in Spain is aligned with group policies and the local regulation.
For all of these responsibilities you will be supported by the Group Compliance, Legal and Data Protection functions and external experts when necessary.

Who we are looking for
You are our ideal candidate if you meet the following requirements:
· Law degree.
· Previous experience of at least 4-7 years in related roles.
· Experience in the insurance regulation/compliance sector, with expertise in insurance distribution activities.
· Knowledge of the English language, written and spoken.
· Knowledge and understanding of the insurance regulatory framework.
