Francesca Renzulli has been appointed General Counsel of Prima, the Italian-founded insurtech company that serves over 3.5 million customers. She will be responsible for legal matters and compliance for Prima not just in Italy, but also in Spain and the UK.

Renzulli has a long career in legal and regulatory affairs. She joins Prima from the digital payments provider Nexi, where she was Head of Group Corporate Governance. Before that, she worked as General Counsel of Anima Holding S.p.A. and for international law firms such as Linklaters and Clifford Chance. She is also an independent director of Intermonte Partners SIM S.p.A..

The appointment of a General Counsel follows Prima’s rapid growth in Italy and in the foreign markets of Spain and the UK. Prima believes Francesca Renzulli will enrich its Executive Team. She will report directly to Prima CEO, George Ottathycal.
