We are looking for a talented Group Financial Reporting Expert who will report to the Group Financial Reporting Manager, in the CFO area, and will join the Financial Reporting Team.

Our perfect candidate will have solid experience in accounting and financial reporting, with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for a business-oriented accounting enthusiast with analytical approach and great coaching skills to more junior colleagues. 

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing the consolidated financial statements of the Group according to IAS/IFRS 
- Reviewing Group monthly reporting with the support of our Group ERP (Oracle Netsuite), ensuring correctness and reliability of accounting data
- Ensuring a smooth and efficient process for closing financial statements, according to best-in-class accounting procedures.
- Coordinating and coaching junior colleagues, e.g. in preparing intercompany reconciliations and managing intercompany transactions.
- Supporting the Corporate Finance team in the budgeting process (e.g. calculation of IFRS adjustments & other accounting impacts).
- Supporting external auditors in their audit activities.
- Acting as point of contact with the management and with external advisors for matters related to accounting.

Requirements

You are our ideal candidate if you meet these requirements:
- Outstanding academic background in Accounting or Business studies
- Strong background in the insurance sector
- Previous experiences (at least 4 years) in Big 4 audit firms will be considered a plus.
- Solid background in international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS).
- Positive mind-set, pragmatic attitude, ownership mentality and a "can do" attitude.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Analytical skills, precision and attention to detail.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Willing to grow  in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

In addition to the basic requirements, we will appreciate these characteristics:

- Certified public accountant (CPA) or statutory auditor.
- Passion for a diverse international environment.
- Result oriented, coaching and time management skills
